Contents pages are where the reader of the magazine would look to find what's inside the magazine. It usually features 2/3 spaced out columns. The have a banner at the top that reads 'contents' which is sometimes accompanied by the masthead, date and issue number. Next to each article is the page number for that article, which is there so that the reader knows what is on each page and they can easily go to that article if they don't want to read the rest. There is also subheadings to tell you which part of the contents page the article falls under, e.g. 'news' or 'reviews',  this way the reader can find what they're interested in easily. There is also sometimes a blurb under each article to explain more what the article is about, this is there to draw the reader in and make them want to read the article.
